Deck jetwash timber

Brush off any debris regularly, e.g. dust, leaves, dirt.Ensure the decking is cleaned and maintained at least once a year ideally with a pressure washer to remove any potential growth of mould, algae. Extra care needs to be taken when using pressure jet washers to minimise the potential damage to soft wood tissues and also washing off of extractives or tannins to surrounding materials and paintwork.Do not flood or leave standing water on any timber surface.

Timber will weather and develop splits and shakes, and this should not be considered a  product defect as splits generally tend not to affect the structural integrity of the decking.

Use a wood reviver to remove stains or excessive weathering, apply surface treatments .eg UV oils or anti-slip coatings.

Depending on the frequency of use and deck movement of the decking, always check fixing tightness and retighten if required, remove worn or damaged boards
